The Apartment

I just watched Sukiyaki Western Django the other day-- not quite as awesome as I expected, but concept wise it was a treat and I loved the costumes to pieces. It was genius to have merged a traditional kimono with the typical cowboy attire. 
The movie revolved around two clans; there were the Reds and the Whites. I think the Whites were called the Genjis or Genjies (?) I'm not sure (It was hard to understand since Japanese actors struggle when it comes to english XD). Anyway, if you're a Kill Bill fan you'll probably enjoy the humor, plot, and nonsense of this film.
In the end I'm drawing ARASHI based on the costumes on the movie. Doing the Japanese Kimono patterns would be hell, but I think it would be worth it, and I should honestly stop slacking my creative mojo haha~

moonhound yesterday to hangout and stuff. We chatted about work and life in advertising-- lol what an industry it is~ And we did our mandatory magazine and book check at FullyBooked, eye-ing the books we ought to or want to buy sometime in the future (or whenever we have cash to pay). We were supposedly going to attend an org. meeting but ended up watching Zac Efron in 17 Again (HIHI~)-- WHICH WAS TOTALLY WORTH EVERY PESO SPENT. When was Zac Efron SO HOT??? WHEN??? Its been a while since I flailed over some western/American boy. I can't describe it- it's like my eyes were opened (and have been converted) to the thought that Zac Efron is more than a dancing/singing/basketball Disney Idol. I can finally take him seriously.
HE IS SO HOT.
We both just kept flailing until we mentally bricked ourselves realizing how giddy and insanely caught we were by him.
and then we spazzed some more 8D
*aherm* Right. Haha. Yes. Jun Matsumoto. Right.
Jun's ACT mini shoot was made of classy boyish sexy. He does seem to have a subtle sexiness now compared to before- a lot more young and innocent (?). But it has been ages since a shoot like this was done-- the last one I remember that had a very raw feel was from an issue of NON-NO last year. Oh his new hair did WONDERS for him ♥♥♥.
And even tho he hadbutt ugly hair in that COOL magazine shoot, I like how it was art directed and the photos they got were really interesting (reminded me of those old Marc Jacobs print ads in Vogue). I loved the one he was covering his eyes. THAT WAS AN AMAZING SHOT.

One more week to go before my OJT ends. I can't believe that it went by so fast-- I'm still internally debating with myself whether to have an extension for at least a few more days just to see how the stuff we're working on turns out. Besides that, the people are so amazing!♥ I have never been in a place where each and every one is this brilliant and wonderful person (at least in the Creatives Department-- or most of the people there). The people who work here have such a great vibe to them that it inspires you to come up with great output/material. I admit I feel very challenged, but I'm glad I am because it proves that I'm learning and I'm spending my summer the way I wanted-- fruitful, fun, and a great laughtrip 'till the end.
My group's ideas have been shot down for about the 3rd time now. The pressure and annoyance is definitely building up-- I feel like I/we've found a public enemy in the office. Things just got a lot more challenging, hard, confusing (a tad bit discouraging), and well- in a way- excitingly fun. I'm hoping we figure this out, so we can say, "HAHAHA LOOK WHAT THE INTERNS DID." and the end of all this. I can see myself sniggering.
WE HAVE THE BEST HEAD WRITER EVER. He's a pokemon superfan who does Brazilian JuJitsu- fabulously gay, and on top of all that is one of the most charming and adorable guys on the planet.♥♥ (Not to mention goodlooking too) ♥ Who will not fall-in-love with pokemon breeder who does martial arts??? NO ONE I TELL YOU. NO ONE. ♥♥♥
